-Taylor and Adam Engagement Session

Taylor contacted me back in May about taking her engagement photos. We had to move fast since they were getting married in a few months. She asked that I come to their farm in Ferguson Valley for the session. As always, I am a little uneasy about shooting at a location I have not been to before. I have also learned from the past to trust my clients......this was no different. The property stretched for miles with beautiful fields, mountains and great character. I knew instantly I wouldn't want to leave. Here is their story...….

The first part of our session we spent close to the house to include their beautiful daughter. She wasn't sure of me and my camera at first, but she soon warmed up and gave me some unforgettable smiles.

We then hopped into the golf cart and explored the property for the perfect setting and light. Taylor and Adam told me their story about the property and how it's open to the public for a cornmaze and pumpkin patch every fall and how much work goes into planning this every year.

Of course no farm session would be complete without a picture with the family tractor and I could tell how much this meant to Adam by the way he talked about it.

Taylor and Adam have known each other for a long time and have found their way back to each other after several years. A few ice cream dates and she knew he was the one for her. This property will make a beautiful setting for their wedding.

At the end of the session Adam says....."can we take a few photos with the truck". The answer is always "YES".
